Fireplaces and fire pits
A grand fireplace for evenings of warmth, or a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Designed and built to be safe and to last.
How we build it
Consultation
We meet you at your home or office in the Kirksville area, look at the space, listen to your ideas and make recommendations for your taste and budget.
Design
Our design team creates a custom plan that fits your outdoor layout, considering size, shape, materials and location.
Material selection
We guide you through durable, good-looking materials, including natural stone, concrete and brick, weighing durability, upkeep and looks.
Installation
Our crew handles all of it: excavation, foundation construction and assembly, built to last.
Finishing touches
Seating areas, lighting and landscaping that tie the fire feature into the space.
Wood-burning or gas
We design and install both. A wood-burning fire pit is simpler to install, with the right safety considerations. A gas fire feature costs more to install because it needs a gas line, an ignition system and sometimes ventilation.
Safe by design
Our craftsmen make sure your outdoor fireplace or fire pit is beautiful, safe and functional, from the placement of fire-resistant materials to proper ventilation and the right installation of gas or wood-burning components.

What changes the price of a fire feature
- Materials. Fire pits use concrete block, metal rings or kits; fireplaces use more masonry, in natural stone, brick or concrete.
- Site preparation. Leveling, excavating and preparing the foundation, and how easy the site is to reach.
- Foundation and footing. Larger features, especially fireplaces, may need deeper foundations and footings.
- Material quality. Premium stone and brick cost more.
- Gas or wood-burning. Gas needs gas lines, ignition and sometimes ventilation.
- Extras. Seating walls, custom seating, storage and built-in cooking elements.
- Landscape integration. Planting around the feature so it belongs in the yard.
